Our first grant!

Excited to announce we have been awarded funding alongside four outstanding collaborators at the Suisun Resource Conservation District, Utah State University, Purdue University, and Santa Clara University to investigate best socioecological practices for invasive species management in Suisun Marsh. This project is funded by the Delta Science Council and Bureau of Land Management: https://deltacouncil.ca.gov/delta-science-program/delta-science-proposal-solicitations.

Dr. Richelle Tanner has worked in this area of study alongside the Suisun Resource Conservation District, the USGS, and Utah State University in her Delta Science Fellowship at UC Davis previously. We are excited to bring on a new postdoctoral researcher focused on strategic communications science in Fall 2022!
